once in a while, you get the honor of carrying someone in your cab that is TRYING to make a difference in their life after messing up their life…………..a few nights ago, I carried a young man who had killed his best friend in a Drunken Driving accident………..he was speaking at the Jewish Student center and it was a true honor to carry this man even knowing the PAIN he must be sufferring every day for having done what he had done………….he now preaches the Sins of Drunken Driving and WHAT it can and will do to your life……….my 16 years Sobriety might not mean much to others, but to ME , its the ULTIMATE WIN over alcohol……….and the struggle others fight and carry with them………
